Richard White age 90, passed away on August 1, 2014 in Boulder City, Nevada. He was born on April 10, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Boulder City Family Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 10:40 am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his wife Margaret. Son of Jesse and Elizabeth White, Richard was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1924. He served with distinction with the Sixth Army in World War II, seeing action at Omaha Beach and the Battle of the Bulge. In 1948 Richard married his beloved Margaret Arline Connor. Longtime residents of California, Richard and Margaret retired to Boulder City, NV in 1994. After Margaret's passing in 2005, Richard spent his final years at the Nevada State Veterans Home. Richard is survived by sons Robert, Gary and William; grandchildren Scott, Kristen and Jacob; and great-grandsons Devin, Drew, Gavin and Graham.
