Robert Clark

August 16, 1939 — April 27, 2012

Robert Henry Clark "Bob" age 72, passed away on April 27, 2012 at his home in Boulder City, NV after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born in Lawrence, MA, to Martin and Mary Clark. He married his loving wife Sharon in 1973 in Las Vegas. In 1980 they moved to Nevada from Orlando, Florida. For twenty five years Bob worked for Seven Crown Resorts and retired as the Vice President of Operations in 2008.

Bob was a member of St Andrew's Catholic Community and had a strong faith and devotion to God and his family. He loved college football and could be found cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on fall Saturdays. He enjoyed Sudoku puzzles, and reading Tom Clancy and John Grisham novels. He had a passion for history, especially that pertaining to the military, the old west, and the Civil War. He was a scratch golfer in his earlier years. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR. But above all else, his greatest love and passion was being a family man. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and wonderful Grampy and he will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife of forty years Sharon Clark, his sons Geoffrey and John (Lindsay) Clark, and five grandchildren: Dylan Robert Clark, Sarah Clark, Lillie Clark, Saxon Clark, and Gavin Robert Clark.

He is also survived by his brothers James Clark and John Clark, his sister Peggy Smith, and was preceded in death by his older brother Michael Clark.

The Clark Family would like to thank Dr. Warren Smith M.D. and his wonderful staff, as well as Dr. Mary Ann Allison M.D. and Matthew Schwartz M.D. of Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada for their compassion and medical care during Bob's fight with cancer.

A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 10:00 am at St Andrew Catholic Community 1399 San Felipe Dr. Boulder City, NV 89005. Family and friends can sign the online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com .
