Robert Orr

Robert Lee Orr, age 85 of Henderson passed away on March 25, 2013. He was born on May 26, 1927 in East St Louise, Illinois. He joined the United States Navy at the age of 16 and fought in World War II. He served as a Ship's Cook Third Class. He became a great chef and had a passion for cooking and baking. He would bake over 6,000 Christmas cookies every year and loved hosting and cooking for his friends at the club house. He also enjoyed classical music.
He is survived by his two daughters Barbara Panegasser and Linda Myers; a brother Earl Orr; three grandchildren Jessica Myers, Victor Panagasser, and Nicholas Panagasser.
