It is with great sorrow that our family announces that our son, Robert Samuel Stewart has passed peacefully in his sleep on August 4, 2024 at the young age of 43.
Robert was born on April 18, 1981 in San Diego, California to Robert Edwin Stewart and Debbra K Peebles Stewart.
He was an only child and always on the go keeping everyone running after him. He loved the outdoors, camping and boating. Collecting Sports Memorabilia and then getting autographs and pictures with the team players for his collection.
Robert was 13 when his family moved to Mesquite. He joined the Youth Football Team and played with them for a couple of years until he hurt his knee which ended his playing days. All he ever wanted at the time was to grow up and try out for his team, the San Diego Chargers.
He loved to make everyone laugh, joke around and was a prankster. If he couldn’t make you laugh, he would continue until you laughed, he was that contagious. The stories he could tell of his adventures of himself and his friends.
Bobby, after High School worked at the Rancho Mesquite, Casa Blanca, Walmart Warehouse and then his favorite job at URS in Wyoming driving the Big Mining Trucks. Cars, Trucks and Bigger Trucks were his thing.
Bobby is preceded in death by his father Robert E. Stewart 02/2024. Survived by his mother, Debbra Stewart of Mesquite. Uncle Tim and Aunt Alesa of San Diego, cousins Brittney and Kyle of San Diego; Connie and Justin Talmadge of Carson City.
Celebration of life will be held on August 24, 2024 from 3 pm to 6 pm at the Casa Blanca Banquet Room. Family and friends are welcome to sign an online memorial guestbook at www.starmortuary.com
