Robert Kenneth Ziemer “Bob” age 91, of Boulder City, NV passed away on January 11, 2022 in Henderson Hospital. Bob was born on December 1, 1930 in Colton, CA to Robert and Serene Abbott Ziemer. The family moved to Boulder City for five years of Bob’s growing up years, then moved to Burbank, CA. He graduated high school and got married and then enlisted in the Navy and served during Korea. After serving he moved back to Burbank and worked for the City of Burbank for 35 years. Then moved to Big Bear California. While in Big Bear his wife passed away, then he met Rhea Waters and they were married and spent seven more years in Big Bear before moving to Boulder City. They have spent the last 22 years in Boulder City. Bob was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed working in the Redland Temple and the Las Vegas Temple. Bob is survived by his wife Rhea Ziemer and is preceded in death by his first wife and his oldest son.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 5th at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 9:45 at the church. Burial will be at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 12 noon. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
