Sandra Tallant

Sandra Jean Tallant, age 76, of Boulder City passed away on January 15, 2014. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 1st, 1937 to Neal and Marion Hope Farmer, Sandra married Dennis Tallant on June 3, 1961. Sandra and Dennis raised a family together in the Milwaukee and Waukesha areas of Wisconsin before retiring to Boulder City, Nevada in 1993.

Sandra was a 4-H Leader and loved teaching youth leadership skills. In addition, she enjoyed snow skiing, fishing, crocheting, and tracking her family's genealogy. She will be remembered by her family as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Sandra is survived by her husband Dennis Tallant of Boulder City, NV; three children Stephen (Karla) Tallant of Ogden, UT, Debra Tallant of Henderson, NV, Michael (Tami) Tallant of Harrisville, UT; seven grandchildren Nicole (Dallas), Sara, Joshua, Dallas, Ashleigh, Kaycee, Mason; one great granddaughter Lilyanah; and her beloved dogs Bonnie and Barney.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th at Boulder City Family Mortuary from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held on January 21st at 12 p.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
