Sheila Young
September 25, 1940 — April 17, 2015
Sheila Sutherland Young, age 74, of Hanson, MA passed away on April 17, 2015 surrounded by family in Henderson, NV after struggling valiantly with cancer. She was born on September 25, 1940 in Brockton, MA to Edgar and Alice DeCost Miller. She was a woman of Christian faith and tthroughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many. Sheila enjoyed reading and visiting the ocean, even just to listen to the crashing waves. She also loved to travel, especially cruise vacations, but nothing was more precious to her than visiting with family and her life-long friend, Shirley.
Sheila is survived by her four children Jeff DaSilva of West Yarmouth, MA, Lynn (Tony) Crapis of Henderson, NV, Dana (Sandy) Young of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Chelsey Young of Henderson, NV; a sister Jeanne Britch; a brother Robert Miller; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
