On July 30th 2021, Heaven gained another angel when Sherrie Perron took her final breath, with her husband Randy at her side. The sun rose and the world welcomed Sherrie on August 14, 1957 to Bill and Bev Parrell on a day the world became a little brighter. Sherrie lived a full and warm live, filled with joy, kindness and laughter. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
She is survived by her husband Randy Schmelzer; children Chris Perron and Jennifer (Jon) Thompson; siblings Rhonda (Bob) Haag, Mitch Parrell, Nathan (Candy) Parrell and her parents Bill and Bev Parrell and many grandchildren that she loved.
Sherrie enjoyed listening to music by The Dixie Chicks (especially with her friend Jenn(r.i.p.). She looked forward to watching the Green Bay Packers play and finally had her wish of visiting Lambeau Field a couple of years ago fulfilled. She was very hard working and very much enjoyed the time she served in the United States Air Force and the time she spent working as manager of Home Hardware Tru Value in Boulder City and previously as a bar manager at The Backstop in Boulder City. She was always a farm girl at heart and loved horses and the outdoors.
Air Force Memorial Services and Celebration of Life will be held at the Boulder City Elks Lodge from 1 to 4 pm on Tuesday, August 10th. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
