Stacy Marie Parker, age 44, of Henderson, NV passed over on December 30, 2013. She was born December 18, 1969 in Smithtown, Long Island, New York to Richard and Anita Murn. At the age of ten she moved to Boulder City, Nevada with her family. She worked as a Registered Nurse in several Las Vegas area hospitals as well as in several Clark County School District schools. She married Anthony Parker on April 21, 2001. Stacy had a strong passion for horses, in particular Sam and Shannon, and for her pet dog Bella. She was a member of the Henderson Saddle Association. Stacy also was a volunteer patient at the Touro University in Henderson, NV where she assisted in the training of future physical therapists. Stacy enjoyed going on cruises with her husband and family and was a devoted mother and wife and loved her family. Stacy is survived by her husband, Anthony Scott Parker; parents, Richard and Anita Murn; five children, Meagan Barrow, Britny Nieznanski, Alexis Parker, Victoria Parker, and Amber Parker; two grandchildren, Braxton and Boston Barrow; her sister, Renee Owens, brother-in-law Leonard, and two nephews J.D. and Tyler Owens. On Saturday afternoon, February 22, starting at 12 noon, come celebrate Stacy's life with her family, close friends, horses and her pet dog in her home she loved so much (located at 1631 Turf Drive, Henderson). There will be a Bar-B-Q, a tribute video, and an opportunity to participate in sending Stacy your own personal message to her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation, 3001 St. Rose Parkway, Henderson, NV 89052. It is the family's preference that you designate specifically the Aphasia Lunch Bunch Program or the Stroke Program. You can also visit the Foundation's website (supportstrose.org) for information on how to donate. A form can be printed out for your convenience, listing either or both programs under "other". Stacy was an active member of these groups and enjoyed the education and camaraderie shown by all the individuals involved. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
