Tami Vaughn-Devries, 47, Boulder City, NV Tami Vaughn-Devries, born in Knoxville, Tennessee August 16, 1967, passed away peacefully at home, June 22, 2015, with her mother by her side.

Tami was raised in Knoxville, where she enjoyed competing in national roller skating competitions. As a young adult, she moved to San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Madison High School, and then attended UTSA. She eventually moved to Nevada, spending the last decades of her life exploring the beauty of the desert. Tami worked in the Office of General Counsel, at the College of Southern Nevada until her retirement in May, 2015.

Tami was preceded in death by her Grandparents Pearl and L.E. Bible, father Jerry Vaughn, and step-brother Danny Ray Yardley, Jr. She is survived by her spouse Shaun DeVries, step-son Shaun DeVries Jr., mother Lois Garber (Tom Garber), father Steve Albin (Tina Albin), step-mother Mickey Vaughn, Grandmother Bobbie Albin, sister Stephanie Giovannucci, niece Aubree Kessler, and sister-in-law Elizabeth DeVries-Swartsbaugh. Tami has many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her. Celebrations of Tami's life will be held in Nevada, Texas, and Tennessee by her family and friends, who will deeply miss her bright light and infectious smile. In lieu of flowers donations may be made, in her name, to the Oral Cancer Foundation (www.oralcancerfoundation.org).
