Terry Lee Inabnitt, 51 of Henderson NV, passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2014. Terry proudly served his country in the Department of Defense for over 30 years. Terry's first 20 years were on Active Duty as an Air Force Independent Duty Medical Technician (IMDT); with notable assignments during the First Gulf War, earning the Kuwait Liberation Medal, as an elite member of the infamous 820thRed Horse Squadron, Nellis AFB NV, and his final assignment as the Superintendent, Medical Group, DAF Las Vegas NV. Terry continued working for the military as an Information Technology Lead and then as the Director of Industrial Security for the same DAF unit. During his career he earned numerous accolades and earned an Associates and Bachelor Degree's in both the Medical and Information Technology Fields. Terry was an avid and experienced Motorcyclist, riding numerous charity and personal cross country and local road trips, always traveling with his beloved "Fabulous Four" riding buddies. To say he was happy riding his Harley-Davidson is an understatement, but was the happiest when his wife and Junior High School Sweet Heart; Ruth "Ann" (Johnson) Inabnitt was at his side. Left to cherish his memories are his devoted wife Ann Inabnitt, Daughters, Tracie Inabnitt and Trista Lawson, both of Virginia. Step daughter, Jamie Stephens and Step son Matt Freeman of Bloomington Indiana. Mother, Rita Jones. Brothers James Inabnitt (Kimberly) and Scott Inabnitt, Sister Stephanie Elmore, all of Indiana. Sister in law, Ronda Ramsakof New Orleans, Mother in Law Donna Pavey, Sister in law, Jane Lyons and Brother in law, Joe Johnson of Bloomington Indiana. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, nephews and cousins, and five grandchildren. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Roger Dale Inabnitt and his grandmother, Jessie Burdine. There will be a memorial viewing on September 11, 2014 at Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.Funeral Services will be on September 12, 2014 at 1200pm at Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr. Boulder City NV, where Terry will be laid to rest receiving full military honors.
