Thelma Sharleen Jones

Thelma Sharleen Jones (Coats) passed away July 12, 2024 at her home in Mesquite, NV. She was born in March 1939, to William and Dorothy Coats. Upon graduating from Hanna High School in 1957, she married Francis Jones. As a couple, they lived in Hanna, Gas Hills, Jeffrey City and Laramie, WY before retiring in 2000, moving to Mesquite, NV. Her husband, father, mother, two siblings, a niece and nephew predeceased her. Family who survive her include brother Billy, three children (Tracy, Rodney, Gayla), six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Highlights of Thelma’s life include a two-week trip to Hawaii and many special friends with whom she diligently maintained contact. Cremation has taken place, and she will be next to her husband’s cremated remains in Laramie, WY.
