Thomas Mcclara

Retired US Army and Coast Guard Veterans,  Thomas G McClara, 79, died Friday Nov. 4, 2022 at Las Vegas, NV. Born in Longview, WA on August 22, 1943, he was a son of Claude Ellis and Pauline Sisson (John) McClara. The family moved to Sacramento area in 1946. Tom was a resident of California from that time on until he and his wife moved to Henderson, NV in 2008.

He enjoyed kite flying, photography, camping, fishing, and traveling. Preceding him in death is his beloved wife of 35 years, Linda Sarey McClara, two sisters, Bonnie Laidlaw, Martha Garcia and a brother Michael McClara. He is survived by a daughter, Wendy (Ronnie) Crittenden; a son, Chad (Yvette) Heiman, two grandsons Steven (Crytal) Walker, Jeremy (Robin) Crettenden, 5 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Tina McClara and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
