Twila Pennington

Twila Reid Pennington, age 90, of Boulder City, Nevada passed away on August 22, 2014. She was born on October 31, 1923 in Cleveland, Arkansas to Jack and Metti Reid. She married Bruce Pennington and they enjoyed 64 years of marriage before he passed away in 2010. Twila worked as a teacher in Los Angeles prior to retiring and moving to Boulder City in the mid 1980s.
Twila enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Republican Women and attended Grace Community Church. She is survived by her three children Bruce (Cindy) Pennington II, Cathy (Rod) Hansen, Alan (Dianne) Pennington; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 10:40 am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, NV 89005.
