Velma Karr

Velma Alice Karr age 78 passed away on November 1, 2013. She was born on August 28, 1935 in Kansas to Owen and Hazel Cabbage. She married Harold Leonard Karr who preceded her in death. Velma's strong faith in the Lord led her to be a lifelong Sunday school teacher; who served passionately at any church she called home, including her last, the First Presbyterian Church of Henderson.
Velma was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother that will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children Lynn Howard (Anita) Karr, Larry (Anne) Karr, Arleen (Craig) Sheeler, Karen Karr; brother Elwin (Margaret) Cabbage; six grandchildren Christopher Sheeler, Bryan Sheeler, Justin Sheeler, Nathaniel Karr, Daniel Karr, Ian Karr.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Christian Center Church located at 571 Adams Blvd., in Boulder City, NV.
