She worked as a telephone/PBX Switchboard Operator for Pacific Telephone in Southern California until she and Chuck relocated to Northern California where she was employed by the County of Mendocino. As Chuck worked for the State of California, and being transferred in 1972 to Soledad State Prison, she was then the Chief Telephone Operator for Department of the Army at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA until retirement in 1992. They resided in King City, CA until 2000 when they moved to Las Vegas, then to Boulder City.
Her outside interests were playing Bingo and bowling. She was pretty good back in her day :)
She enjoyed her last 9 months as a resident in Lakeview Terrace of Boulder City where all of the caregivers and other staff members fell in love with her. She was the light of the facility, always cutting up in the dining room for meals or enjoying a special for the facility.
