Our sweet mother, Vivian Pearl Youngberg, returned to her Heavenly Father on this beautiful Easter morning, April 16, 2017 in Meadview, Arizona, where she lived with her son David. Vivian was born to Hannibal (Harvey) and Emilie Nielsen Hansen on October 9, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Carl Virgil Youngberg on September 21, 1941 and enjoyed married life for 52 years until Virg’s death in 1993. They made their home in the Bountiful, Utah area until moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1968. She is a mother to six children: Carl, Karren (Ross) Rees, Steven (Patricia), Lana (John) Hermansen, Vickie (Bruce) Hirschi and David.
A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she was a devoted mother and wife and a meticulous homemaker; a soft spoken, gentle, kind and refined lady. Vivian is a loving and proud grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Friday April 21 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 221 Lorenzi Street Las Vegas, Nevada 89107. Visitation will be prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45. Burial will take place on Saturday April 22 at 10:00 at Palm Mortuary on Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, Nevada 89123.
