Wallace Ostringer
March 19, 1924 — February 4, 2014
Wallace Patrick Ostringer, age 89, of Henderson passed away on February 4, 2014. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 19, 1924 to Frank and Lousia Ostringer. He served in the United States Army as a paratrooper with the 152 Airborne during WWII. Wallace married Maria Ramos on August 12, 1995 in New York.
Wallace was very active until this last year. He enjoyed going on walks and bike rides. He was an avid bowler and once bowled a 300 game.
He is survived by his wife Maria Ostringer of Henderson, NV; two sons Steven and Dennis Ostringer
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Boulder City Family Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Wallace Ostringer's name.
