Walter Erich Schubert passed on Sunday, June 11, 2017, in his home after a long fight against heart disease.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, December 8, 1932, to Otto and Margarete Schubert, Walter was a faithful member of the New Apostolic Church his entire life. He was drafted by the United States Army on December 11, 1952, and was Honorably Discharged on March 1, 1961, a testimonial of his Honest and Faithful Service to his Country. He resumed his position at Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Company and retired after 36 years of dedicated service as an Inspector.
Walter is survived by his daughter, Deborah Lares; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; nephews Mike and Ronnie Tell; and family members and many friends.
He will be laid to rest with Military Honors at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 1900 Buchanan Blvd Boulder City, Nevada on July 14, 2017 at 12:40 p.m. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
