Warren Christensen

Major Warren A. Christensen passed away Dec. 3, 2021 at 87 years old. He was born in Minneapolis, MN on March 24, 1934.  He was raised in Big Lake, MN and joined the Air Force.  He became a pilot and flew tankers that could refuel six planes.  He was in the Air Force for over 20 years.

At his retirement, he became an optician.  He and his wife owned three optical businesses named Gem Optical in Las Vegas, NV.

He is survived by his wife, Carol, of 66 years of marriage, along with his daughter, Linda Bennett, and son, Dale Christensen (wife Desiree). There are three grandchildren, Alexa Christensen, Arica Christensen, Joseph Bennett (wife Haley).  He has one brother, Donald Christensen, (wife Nancy), along with three nephews who all reside in Colorado.

Services will be held Feb. 7, 2022 at 12:40 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV.  Family would like to thank Boulder City Family Mortuary and request any donations please be made to Community Lutheran Church.
