William Thompson

William L Thompson age 94, of Boulder City, NV passed away on November 17, 2013. He was born on October 17, 1919, in Heber Springs, AR. He had lived in the Las Vegas area since the mid 1950's. He served his country in the United States Air Force for 24 years and retired as a Captain. He married Ellen Thompson in 1959, she preceded him in death in 2008. They loved to travel and saw a lot of the world over their 49 years of marriage. He enjoyed watching sports and politics.
William is survived by one sister, Julia Wiebusch of Lubbock, TX, and five daughters Joanne (John) Warehime of Henderson, NV, Sandy Smith of El Dorado, AR, Pat (Bill) Zimmerman of Baton Rouge, LA, Karen (Gerald) Parker of Eugene, OR, Kay (James) Endicott of Indio, CA; twelve grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and six great, great, grandchildren.
Grave side service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Boulder City Cemetery at 501 Adams Blvd, Boulder City, NV 89005.
