William O'Brien

William John O'Brien age 92, Of Boulder City, NV passed away on April 2, 2016. He was born in Rochester, NY on August 6, 1923 to Clayton and Marguerite Groves O'Brien. William was an Eagle Scout. He joined the United States Air Force and served 27 honorable years before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He married Hazel Domengeaux on July 9, 1944 in Palm Springs, CA.

After retiring he worked at Nellis Air Force Base in the pharmacy for 17 years and also as a guide at Hoover Dam. William enjoyed going on walks, swimming, reading, listening to Jazz Music, and building model airplanes. He enjoyed spending time with friends riding in the desert on dune buggies.

William is survived by his daughter Michelle (Ron) Marcum; grandson Todd (Dodi) Marcum with their children Emily and Natalie; grandson Scott (Kelly) Marcum with their children Jeffery, Daniel and Jada. He is preceded in death by his wife Hazel O'Brien and a great granddaughter Katie Lyn Marcum.
