Henderson, NV: William Ryan Palmer traded his wheelchair in for a chariot for a trip to Heaven on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Bill was born on April 4, 1976 in Youngstown, OH. He was a 1994 graduate of Howland High and a 2003 graduate of Georgia Tech, with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Bill has been seriously handicapped since 2 car accidents in 1999. He leaves behind his parents Winona and Harry Palmer of Henderson, a brother, Brian (Kim), a nephew, Dempsey and a niece, Hilina -all of Topanga, Ca. He was a loving, caring person.
Bill loved following Tech sports, watching movies, listening to music and surfing the net. A story about him was published in People Magazine in the June 9, 2003 issue on page 144.
Bill was confirmed at Howland United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11am at New Song Church, 1291 Cornet Ave, Henderson, NV 89052.
