William Ellis Sharp "Bill" age 78, of Boulder City, NV passed away on March 27, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born in Boulder City, NV on January 26, 1938 to Everett and Grace Imhoff Sharp. He married Patricia Paden "Pat" in Las Vegas, NV on October 17, 1961. Bill served his country in the United States Air Force for 25 years and retired in 1975. He returned to Boulder City where he worked for the Bureau of Reclamation as a draftsman/illustrator at Hoover Dam for 28 years, retiring in 2003.
Bill was a wonderfully generous man who volunteered many hours at Lend a Hand in Boulder City. He was a member of the local VFW and was a true patriot. He enjoyed working in his garden and was an active member of the Christian Center in Boulder City.
Bill is survived by his wife Pat Sharp; three children Shawn Javorich, Amy (James Jensen) Sharp, William (Melissa Dunmire) Sharp; two brothers John (Barbara) Sharp, Curtis (De) Sharp; and six grandchildren Robbie, Keenan, Sarah, Kyle, Sienna and Ashlyn.
Celebration of his life will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Christian Center 571 Adams Blvd Boulder City, NV 89005. Family and friends are invited to sign an online guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
