Zachary James Brennan

March 15, 2000 - September 27, 2021

We will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in heaven.

Zachary James Brennan, son of Joseph and Cheree Brennan, died Monday, September 27, 2021, in Boulder City, Nevada, at the age of 21.

Zach was born March 15, 2000 in Mountain Home, Idaho. He was home schooled through 6th grade and then attended Mountain Home Junior High for 7th and 8th grade. He was an energetic and rambunctious boy, always running around making the family laugh! In fact, two of his regular nicknames were Zachy Zoomer and Zach Attack. He loved to explore the family’s ten acres, looking for snakes to scare his mom, and playing with his three older siblings. He played soccer and learned to swim through the Mountain Home Parks and Recreation Department. Zach took piano lessons, was a National Honor Society member, sang in the Junior High Choir, and was an integral part of Calvary Chapel of Mountain Home Youth Group, through which he made many friends.

The family moved to Boulder City in 2014, where Zach attended Boulder City High School through 2018. He liked his Spanish classes and being part of DECA, a career and technical student organization. He especially enjoyed getting to participate in a DECA trip to New York City.

Zach was a very lovable and funny young man who would do anything to help others. He liked to dabble in drawing, cooking, singing, and playing the piano. He enjoyed hiking with his family, Anime, Japanese films and food. He had a great sense of style and an eclectic taste in music, and he was a very prominent gamer on League of Legends, acquiring a Top 2000 Status in North America.

Zach is survived by his parents, Joe and Cheree Brennan of Boulder City, NV; one brother, Tyler Brennan of Caldwell, ID; sister, Ally Brennan of Boulder City; sister, Elisabeth Brennan Meyers of Jacksonville, NC; grandmother, Geraldine Brennan of Boise, ID; and many, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Brennan, grandparents Melvin and Lorene Bilyeu, and uncle Fred Bilyeu.

A celebration of Zach’s life will be held in the Boise, Idaho area in late October.
